THIEVES CLEANER

If you are anything like me, you are all about doing ingredient detective work. Especially with apps like think dirty and EWG becoming more and more unreliable with ingredient deciphering, I wanted to break down for y'all my favorite product ever and the ingredients in it so you truly have peace of mind using it in your home!

Let's start (and don't forget to share- duh! 😉) :

🌈Water: simple enough :)

🌈Alkyl Polyglucoside- biodegradable surfactant, which acts as a detergent and is derived from plant starch and fatty alcohol from coconuts

🌈Sodium Methyl 2-Sulfolaurate- surfactant derived from plant-based oleochemicals, typically coconuts. It provides a natural solution from often used petroleum surfactants that aren't great for your skin to come into contact with!

🌈Disodium 2-Sulfolaurate: mild non-drying cleanser derived from plants

🌈Thieves Oil Blend, which consists of the specific oils listed below and functions based off of research from pub med articles (research listed below): 

 🌈(Clove) Bud Oil- steam distilled and acts as anti-fungal and anti-viral

 🌈Citrus Limon† (Lemon) Peel Oil: helps to purify the air, is antiviral and antiseptic

 🌈Cinnamomum Zeylanicum (Cinnamon) Bark Oil: antibacterial and antifungal

🌈Eucalyptus Radiata Leaf Oil: Antibacterial and antiviral

🌈Rosmarinus Officinalis (Rosemary) Leaf Oil]: antibacterial and antifungal

🌈Tetrasodium Glutamate Diacetate: biodegradable that acts as a rinsing aid and is made from plant material

Pretty cool right? We use this for every surface of our home, and I love that we can feel good about the ingredients in it! Have you used thieves cleaner?
