BV AND YEAST INFECTIONS

I know this is not the most pleasant and fun topic. But it’s a question I get asked about often. 

Our vaginas are made up of a complex little ecosystem and it doesn’t like to be thrown off. When it is, different infections can happen due to a change in pH or overgrowth of certain bacteria and yeast. 

While there are prescription antibiotics to treat these infections, here is what I have found in the research to support a more natural approach for treatment. 

Even after taking antibiotics, some women deal with recurrent or chronic infections, and in those cases finding the underlying issue and trying to be preventative in keeping a healthy vaginal flora is key. 

As always, talk to a trusted doctor and go to them with questions or concerns.
