Basic Green Beans

This recipe is so easy I almost didn’t type it out but this is my favorite way to do green beans.

On the stove pour your green beans in a pot with either butter or bacon grease.

Pour spices on top and mix altogether. I like salt, pepper, onion and garlic.

Put a lid on and let them heat for 45 mins to an hour on low to medium, stirring occasionally.

You can use your favorite green beans. This might shock you but I prefer canned green beans and specifically whole green beans (not cut or French style). If you prefer frozen or fresh you can make them with those as well!

The key is to make sure they cook long enough. If you only leave them on for 20 mins or so they won’t be good. If you’re short on time just bump up the heat some.
